LeBron James talks trash to Draymond Green after Ohio State beat Michigan State

LeBron James talked some serious trash talk to Draymond Green after the Ohio State Buckeyes handed Green’s alma mater, Michigan State, a big loss on the gridiron.

LeBron James and Draymond Green have a healthy rivalry on the court dating back to their meetings in the NBA Finals when the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers on a seemingly annual basis.

Now, that rivalry transcended off the court and to college football bragging rights.

LeBron claims the Ohio State Buckeyes as his team. The Akron native has been a long-time fan and supporter of the Buckeyes while Green is a Michigan State alumnus.

Ohio State and Michigan State met in the biggest game of the college football weekend but it was over just as soon as it started. The Buckeyes had a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and a 49-0 lead at halftime en route to the 56-7 win.

The win brought out some trash talk from LeBron on Twitter where he made sure to remind Green of his alma mater getting taking it on the chin.

If there is any consolation, Green will be sure to remind LeBron he is 2-1 against him in the NBA Finals and the Warriors have a much better record than the Lakers so far this year.

Maybe the Warriors will meet the Lakers in a postseason series this spring with Green exacting some revenge on LeBron after the college football game didn’t go his way.

Knowing how competitive Green is, you just know this is burning inside him and he’s going to let it motivate him to put up one of his best games the next time he plays against LeBron.
