Luka Doncic on Marcus Morris’ ‘terrible’ foul (Video)

Luka Doncic was fed up with Marcus Morris following another hard foul.

The Dallas Mavericks have a legitimate superstar in Luka Doncic. He scored 38 points Sunday in what ended up being a losing effort against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Mavericks season is now over, but the team should be just fine with Doncic on the roster for years to come.

The young star is clearly rattling other players and that was made evident Sunday when Marcus Morris essentially punched him in the head. Morris was clearly not going for the ball and was ejected from the game after the foul. This came after he had already stepped on Doncic’s ankle earlier in the series.

Doncic was held back Sunday when the foul occurred and was finally able to share his thoughts after the game.

Luka Doncic shares how he really feels

Doncic acknowledging that this is not Morris’ first questionable act shows the young man is aware his ankle being stepped on was a bit suspicious. That doesn’t mean it was in fact on purpose, but that idea is not something Doncic believes alone.

Morris was traded to the Clippers back in February and entered the starting lineup upon arrival. He averaged right around 13 points per game in the series and scored nine points before being ejected in Game 6.

Certain fans and players from the past will see the Morris foul and think nothing of it other than he decided to offer up a hard shot to send a message. That is just not the way of the game anymore and it is also dangerous to hit people in the head. That isn’t breaking news.

Doncic is also a star of the league and the NBA won’t tolerate hard hits on him. The young star will take his hard fouls, but he is in the right here to complain about this one.
